I have been a small winner over the years. I could have gotten a part time job and made a lot more money. I have come to the conclusion that I was somewhat addicted to it. I am spending more time getting in better physical shape and spending more time with friends. Life is a lot better without gambling. I recommend trying it.

If you quit, then why are you here?

This site can be REAL detrimental to your health as it is, but if are posting here AND NOT GAMBLING, then that is just
plain stupid.

I am not necc referring to you here, as maybe you are posting this to warn others then you will leave. That is OK. But to the other guys who post here and DONT GAMBLE, they need some medical help

I hope to get where you are someday.

It is my dream.

It is my nightmare.

I haven't placed a bet in months, I just come here because of the amazing inspiration that I get from you. Philosophically brilliant insight such as this is hard to find out there in the real world, ya know.

Good to hear IS, I remeber you being a pretty sharp player. That being said, quitting is not for me. I take the spring/summer off to enjoy time with family, friends and self. That break is essential to my life, so much going on in the summer months. It's also great to have a family that supports(not financially, lol) my hobby.

Hey I don't gamble on sports at all. I don't see where you should be telling anyone what to do.

Just because you are a degenerate and you have to gamble doesn't mean we have too.

Another reason I quit gambling. I didn't want to be associated in any way with some (not all) of the people found on these gambling message boards.

i'd been better off if i'd never started.

i have come to the conclusion that i'm just plain unlucky.

i lose nba plays by 1 point

i lose at poker when the guy has 2 outs

i lose hockey plays when i've got the home team + 1.5 goals and they lose 2-0 . oh , and the shutout was the first time all year they had been blanked at home. and the empty netter happens with 2 seconds left.

this shit happens to me all the time..

i'm thinking that i'll be real lucky one day and hit the lotto . that will make up for all the above and 100's of other scenarios just like them.

I never said that anyone has to gamble. But this site is dangerous to ones health even when we are already betting.

Hang around long enough, and you too will be gambling

I will admit that I do get treated a lot better across the street. Of course assholes like timetopay are not allowed to post across the street!
